“Once upon a time”

October 7, 2021Roger Bussélleternity, poetry, time

There was a time when
there was no time.
Then, there was
no sickle gripped in death’s dark hand,
no plague to plague the land,
no breath to breathe,
no light to see,
no sea to tickle the sand.
